The background of the painting is more interesting to me personally because I like the way the light is coming through thewindow onto the painting and what seems to be athena goddess of war in her helmet. Also the blus tapestry that I am assuming is Athena's weaving that is hanging up in the back is cool with her admiring it. The foreground doesn't do a whole lot for me but the red curtain on the left is interesting because obviously we want to know whats behind the curtain, but I think that might kind of be a reference to not looking to deeply into things especially that of the gods business because we have come to know that, that does not work out for anyone, ever hah.
